Beauty in blue, you’re a lovely surprise
While I’m stuck on the road in the mud and the mess
Whirling around and around catching sunlight
Inviting my wild thoughts to rest
Beauty it’s you that I longed to discover
The sorrow and tears they now vanish at once
Bright coloured wings you have, tender fine things
Of all treasures I found you’re the best
Beauty in blue, you show me the way
Show me how to float on the wind
and chase away all those heavy thoughts
worries that are haunting me so
Beauty in blue while I’m trying and crying
Believe me your figure’s too fine to be true
Different among the green, most precious ever seen
The forest’s own dancing queen blue!
